We have changed our name to better reflect our members and services. Cambria County Building Codes Enforcement Agency d/b/a Laurel Municipal Inspection Agency performs Building Code Inspection, Floodplain, Driveway, Zoning, Property Maintenance Inspections for participating Municipalities located in Blair, Cambria, Clearfield, Indiana, Somerset and Westmoreland Counties in Pennsylvania.

The CCBCEA-d/b/a Laurel Municipal Inspection Agency is created and administered by local municipalities. It was established by Inter-municipal Agreement(s) between the Agency and members Municipalities, to administer and enforce the provisions of the Uniform Construction Code Act.

The Uniform Construction Code provides uniform standards for builders and design professionals and greater protection for building owners, occupants and the general public.

The UCC applies to the construction, alteration, repair, movement, equipment, removal, demolition, location, maintenance, occupancy or change of occupancy of every building or structure which occurs on or after April 9, 2004, and all existing structures that are not legally occupied.

Our vision is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public through quality building code enforcement.

Our Mission is to offer residents of member municipalities an affordable building code enforcement program with personal service and timely inspections while maintaining an effective and diplomatic relationship with property owners, contractors, and design professionals.

Office Hours: Monday thru Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
